The original of course...when we lived overseas as a kid, you kind of got used to watching the same stuff on video over and over. The new one's kind of weird to me.
Speaking of bugs, there were all kinds of wild looking caterpillars in the woods this weekend after all the rain.

Ok, finished researching. I know we all figured it was probably related to a cicada, so I started there. Luckily "treehoppers" was where I started.
Umbonia crassicornis or Thorn Treehopper.
