On Saturday, 02/05/20100 & Sunday, 02/06/2011 the South Brevard Chapter of Ducks Unlimited & the Brevard County Airboat Association will be hosting its annual "Camp Blackbelly" waterfowl youth hunt @ the TM Goodwin Waterfowl Management Area in Palm Bay.
This event is open to the general public!!!
The event will include an overnight camp out Saturday, Feb 5, 2011 @ TMG observation tower.
Registration will be from 2p - 4p @ the observation tower.
Overnight attendees & their parent/guardians are required to provide sleeping bags & tents. It is also recommended that you bring drinks, snacks & chairs for your party.
A camp fire will be started @ dusk.:occasion14
Saturday night dinner will be courtesy of the Brevard County Airboat Association for all in attendence.
Sunday morning breakfast will be courtesy of Curt McKinney Construction.
Sunday morning lunch will be curtosey of Darryl Jacobs Esq.
On Sunday morning Feb 6, 2011 "only first time duck hunters" & their parent/guardian will be assigned to guides/mentors for the morning's hunt inside TMG.
For all other parties, the BCAA will be providing groups w/o TMG permits drop-off from the levee into Satori Marsh.
Hunters are required to provide their own camo cloths, shotguns, steel shot & waterproof boots.
Note: Parents/guardians are required to attend this event along with the kids!!!:laughing1
