New UW-F Members Come In a Rush!!!!

I sent out 31 Newsletters today to new members who have joined since the mailing late in Nov. We are growing faster and Steve is busy getting the new members signed up and the packets mailed. (Thanks Steve for the great job you are doing!)

Our goal is 1000 total members in the next year or so....that may not seem like a lot, but our members are much more "active" than the national groups who have a lot of "passive" members who just pay their dues. We need those as well, but as anyone who meets and works with UW-F members knows, they rattle the cages!!!! There are about 15,000 total duck hunters in FL.

Keep up the great work and remember to "recruit, recruit recruit...at the ramps!"

David - I could use a couple. More than anything I could use a handfull of the flyers/brochures - I have talked to a few guys since season started about UW, but didn't have anything to give 'em - other than the web address verbally.

I'll send some up your way Don. The handouts we have now are the tri-fold type with info about UW-F and an application on the back. It's the same one we send out with the raffle tickets.

I was telling Dave L on the phone yesterday that I had processed all the internet orders and mailed apps from new members to steve S..and by last night there were 2 new orders! It has been a good month.....but we need to work on good member RETENTION..after all, new members bring...more new members!

And a reminder...Raffle tickets need to get in to me soon....
