Well ....Today was a beautiful day for ducks! Weather was perfect ... cloudy and light rain showers passing through. It was also a day filled with inconsiderate & unethical A**holes!

To start off, I was at the ramp at 3:45 - first one there and that was good. :) Get the boat launched and wait on my partner who arrives at the designated time of 4 am. We get away from the dock quickly as other hunters are starting to arrive. It's only a 5 minute ride to where I want to hunt ... Guess what? Some insonsiderate SOB left his decoys out all night long ... in the spot that I was planning to hunt! I was fresh out of BLAZE ORANGE spray paint ... so, I did the next best thing -- I picked up all of the decoys, tangled them up real good, and conveniently relocated them right in the middle of the boat trail !!! (right where he would see them!)

FAIR WARNING -- If the party responsible for leaving the decoys happens to read this ... The next time that I find your decoys left out overnight, I can promise you that they will be a GLOWING ORANGE by the time that you find them. :evilnana:

The next "problem" was that the three "kids" (term used loosely) responsible for the decoys ... proceeded to shoot at every duck that was even near the 100 yard mark!! I saw at least 10 cripples lock their wings and glide 300 - 400 yards before they went down. No one else could get birds to decoy until these clowns picked up and left for the day. It's a very good thing that they were gone when i got back to the ramp! Because your sh*t was going to get jumped by the other 3-4 groups of hunters on the lake! You ruined a beautiful morning for everyone.

After they left, it only too 20 minutes to finish out our limits. Here's a picture... 2 limits of ringers. We also saw redheads, BWT and 3 pintails.

Dude I know the feeling....That how it was for me before the split at STA 1....We were the first on out there and a group set up 50 yards in front of us and were shooting at ducks flying 200 feet up....any duck that was coming to our decoys was either shot or shot at by those pricks....We were facing eat and the only ducks we shoot were the ones that came from south our north....Really crappy....You have all this area yet people stack on top of each other......Some people really need to learn so duck hunting ethics
