Anybody out there hunt west Fla? I have heard that in Panama City area there are redheads/pins/bluebills on the bay and ringnecks on freshwater lakes. Any more specific locations/directions? I am in Tallahassee and willing to go to PC or a little farther.

You don't hunt Iamonia or Miccosuki? Lot's o ringers. Seminole is close that's where I hunt mostly, it's good at times. :D Also the bays around St marks are supposed to be good.

Yeah, Iamonia is my main lake, when it has water. Been low last 3 yrs along with all Tallahasee lakes except of course Talquin.

Been on Miccosukee twice, but Iamonia is only 10 mins from house to ramp. Hunted St. Marks area (Piney Island) couple times as a kid, but not lately. Think PI became part of the Wildlife Refuge and is off limits.

I have always been curious about Seminole. Been 3x and skunked twice --and it wasnt my typical bad shooting to blame.

I posted this thread because someone told me a saltfishing guide works out of Pan City, offering duck hunts, too. Heard he offers both bay and lake hunts. Would like to learn without paying top $$.
