Best to check the Members Only Forum for cyber scouting....very few will give out info on a public site.

Not cyber scouting....simply asking how everyone has done hunting the glades...

I don't think Newton was refering to you DMD, but rather all those other watchful eyes out there that will take your information and "strip mine" the ducks from your spots. That is why we have a members only forum.

Simple question - Has any one hunted the glades and how did you do....Dont care about where you were....Did you shoot ducks....Yes or No

O.K...
To be perfectly frank about it.. Very few are going to tell you anything about their sucess, location or anything else on the Public Forum.. Like it was suggested in an earlier post, GO TO THE MEMBER'S FORUM.. If you don't want to go to the Member's Forum, sit here and spin your wheels...

I realize this doesn't help much, but I will say that certain spots in the Glades are holding birds but it is by no means widespread. Like most areas you need to put in the time to scout it and find where they are holding. I scouted for a couple of hours last Saturday in an area that has held birds in the past and only saw 2 mottles the entire trip. It's a weird year because of the high water levels so places that have held birds in the past are not now and vice versa...
Hope this helps.

Thats how its been man...i know the feeling....Me and my buddy use to only hunt the glades but in the past 5 years the numbers have been way down....I have only been hunting the for 4 seasons now but around 6 years ago my buddy use to limit out behind his camp in area 2 no problem......We use to hunt in 2A but dont even plan on going out there unless we get lazy.....I got offered to go south of the alley to my cousins boyfriends hole....All I have heard is that its all ringers......With the price of gas for the airboat its cheaper just to head to the STA's....I will be 3/4 Saturday

Dan, If $$ is an issue... the STA's are by far the way to go. The glades are huge and gas costs $$ ....
That said, the STA's bring the numbnuts in very close proximity.....It is less of a duck hunt but more like a dove shoot!

You must of stole that quote from me on FFAH forum...LOL...It depends on witch one you go to....It is less of a real hunt...But I will take it....Last year I had to chance to do most of my hunting on a private lease my buddy's dad was working on.....This year we might make a trip there but the STA's are closer and easy to hunt
