Here are a couple of letters some will be interested in reading.

alright now should we email anyone or do you want to wait for the results from these letters also where are the workshops held so we can get everyone nearby to attend if that would be benifical.

These Work Shops are usually at the SFWMD offices in West Palm Beach....we have a pretty good representation as I usually can go, then David, Jeff Allen are also regulars....the Kiss. meetings can be a bit more difficult as they are often in Okeechobee or the Kiss. station further north.

I average about two meetings a week. There are just a lot of issues with the 16 county Everglades Restoration, all the way from Orlando south.

When a "turn out" is needed to put pressure on the WMD we can count on the guys down south, ie the 8th Street Hunt Culb, to show...Alex does a good job getting them out...and also a good job on the issues of the southern glades where they have to take the lead..

The key is to have folks in every area to make the meetings....ie the UW-F group who monitor the St. Johns WMD and Mike Haney and the crowd who watch over the Jax area... and Wilbur and Phil in their area,etc, etc...

Then we can step in with the whole statewide group when needed....ie the Jax boat ramp ban on firearms situation we turned around in less than 12 hours.....

Thats what makes UW-F work....the local members being active on their issues and asking for help when the pressure is needed.

These letters are examples of what can be done as we work through issues.
