Which is the one with the least maintenance hassle and gets it done? I have heard to get a shoulder stock or Retriver-R Post for helping with the kick and to get extra o-rings and grease them. I know, like all products, everyone has their own opinion. Just want to see what users want. Thanks.

I have a Retrieve R Trainer I bought used. It needed an O-ring. I found one locally that was a close fit, but was worried it would cause a problem, so I called the factory. I ordered some replacements from Gun Dog Supply but still haven't replaced the original one.

They are pretty basic, and clean up with basic gun cleaning supplies. Extra dummies are easy to be found.

I don't have a shoulder stock. I grip it backwards because it is supposed to be easier on your joints. I don't really have any problem with it and wouldn't think it would be a problem unless someone is shooting it several dozen times a session.

My Boykin loves to retrieve from it and does back-flips when he sees me pull it out!

I have a DT launcher, it works great, I bought the long range dummies for the retrieve-r-trainer from cabellas, and with yellow or red loads the dummmies flat out go along way.
