Gov. Bush Announces Plan to Lower Lake O

UW-F was well represented on the north shore of Lake Okeechobee this morning when Gov. Bush spoke and outlined the plan to maintain a lower lake level as part of the Restoration. Capt. Chris Chesley and David Lithgow (the UW-F representative on the Restoration Committee) were busy with me politicing an array of officials.

Senator Ken Pruitt and Reprentative Joe Negron spoke and the new SFWMD Executive Director, Carol Wehle led the ceremonies.
