Me and my buddy pulled 7 permits between the two of us including early teal, opening day of both phases, and some mid - Dec. and late season hunts. I heard of a few people that had problems at tax offices and court houses due to down computers and such. How did the rest of yall do?

I did not get any for the weekend of 1/14-1/15.

I was trying to get one for that weekend due a UW meeting on 1/14.

I got opening day, but for the afternoons. Really wanted mornings, but being that I am bringing my kid, I guess it will be much easier of a hunt. What the **** happened with the call in system? That was rediculous. What have you heard about he STA3-4? Never been there.

I am new to the STA's. Its only my first season hunting them. I recieved early teal at 3/4 afternoon, 11/20 afternoon at 5, 12/10 morning at 3/4, and 1/29 morning at 1. I got my hunting partner 12/18 after at 5, 12/24 morning at 3/4 (that should be a good christmas present ) and 1/15 afternoon at 1.

I wanted a morning at 5 but that was a little hard to come by. Some of my buddies hunted at 5 last year and said it did not make a difference between morning and afternoon....they flew ALL DAY LONG! Afternoon hunts are a lil easier if you ask me. My best hunt last year was an afternoon hunt on a private lease and I got my limit of ducks in one hour. To me its not how many ducks you shoot but how many memories you make out there. Don't get me wrong I love taking as many as I can but there have been hunts were I only shot 3 or 4 and will stay in my mind forever.
