Difference between longtail prop and Hyperdrive???

I wanted to see if my 23hp longtail prop would fit on my newish 21hp hyperdrive? It seems when loaded down the rig needs a lower pitch prop. The prop that is on there has a large cup like a speed prop. Any advice?

sorry ..it wont fit...longtails use a 3/4" dia. shaft w/ #10 threads
hyper use a 7/8" shaft....you would have to have it redrilled and rethreaded...only to find out it wont work as the hypers run with part of the prop out of the water.ther are 11 to 12.25 dia........the longtail props (9" dia )are not designed to do that....
back to the drawing board........be safe.....mudman
