This goes back 2 years ago at the KOA in Clewiston. The wife had cleaned the camper out. She said all the spices were old. All that was left, a unopened can of everglades seasoning and a shaker of Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Both hard as a rock.
I cut the everglades can in half and used half the can. About a 1/4 cup.
Same for the Montreal, cut in half used half.
Found a can of Sprite in the cabinet and a beer in the fridge. Opened both.
Put the 2 limits in a gallon size ziplock bag
Add the Everglades and Montreal
Add the Sprite. You thought I was going with the beer, well I did sort of I drank it. :D
Put into fridge for 2 hours remove and place on grill.
A bag of success rice and a can of green beans complete the easy recipe.
Now the rest of the story:
We had 3 weekends in a row then 3 weeks off then the winter meeting. I had asked to store my camper there at the KOA to keep from pulling it home and back 4 times. When we had so much leftover I took it to the office to share with the staff of the KOA. Guess it was good because they offered to let me keep my camper on a unused monthly site for the next 3 weeks so we could just rolling late on Friday and already be setup.
