Woodie Breeding Season

I Built A Duck House For A Pair Of Woodies In My Backyard But Unfortunately The Hay Got Compacted To The Point The Eggs Did Not Hatch. Is It Too Late In The Year For To Get Back On The Nest? If So, Should I Take The Duck House Down Until March? Thanks For Any And All Input.
