Pic with the 13HP Scavenger
http://www.huntingpictures.net/uploads/180/1st_run-1.jpg
Specs:
LOA 15'3"
Beam 50" middle, 39" transom
Side height 9"
Deadrise 10d
Stitch-n-glue fiberglass construction.
Raka Epoxy and cloth
With the outboard the boat runs just shy of 20mph with a normal load and 1 person. It slows to approx 16MPH with 2 guys and hunting load. I have a second 15HP "parts" motor that is included in the deal.
The scavenger will run through the thickest stuff but does not push the boat very fast. 1 guy = 11mph, 2 + load = 8mph
Price:
$1,500.00 with the Johnson
$2,000.00 with the Scavenger
$2,500.00 with both motors
The boat hides really well and I have LOVED hunting out of it. I have a flip open fastgrass blind setup for layout hunting and that is inlcluded.
The boat has full foam flotation. I "tank tested" it in our pool and it took 2500lbs of water which filled it to the gunnels and with me, my son, dog and 3 5 gallon buckets of water to simulate motor weight she still floated with about 3" of freeboard.
The boat is solid as a rock, no problems with it whatsoever. I'm going in a differnet direction for this coming season. I put my 14 year old boy on a few limits last season and now he's the American Express kid, I can't leave home without him ;) and I wouldn't have it any other way. Problem is that in order to hunt with any of my huntin buds I need a boat that will hunt 3 or 4 guys. Plus now all his buds are hanging around with a goofy look on their face waiting for their turn. :) I'm going with an 18' with one of the new surface drives. I' will hate to see this boat go but you gotta do what you gotta do :o
