I guess my "reply" post on another string has not been read. I got my Newsletter today....I was interested in "around the state" posts on receipt so we can judge the efficiency of the mailing system. Thanks for a few samples of dates received....it was mailed Friday afternoon.

Newton I received mine on 7/22/05. Not bad when you consider that we are paying bulk rate. I think this provides a great value. As it stands right now the newsletter alone comprises half of our membership dues. I think that it is worthwhile because I am sure that everyone whose name or picture appears in it swells with the pride of their accomplishments for our cause. Unfortunately getting a faster service would cripple our budget and not really provide a better product. All the issues in the newsletter were timely and relevant getting it there 2 days earlier would not have made a difference. We got nearly first class service for half the price!

Awesome newletter. Imagine my suprise when Newton's editorial was based upon your humble correspondent's thread.

I certainly was just trying to put out interesting subject matter out there for us to consider. NO rabble rousing with UW-F. Can't say enough good things about the accomplishments.

Love having all OUR land open for waterfowl huting. ALso love the idea of avoiding the WMA red tape.

Did you guys really fall for that "mail check" line.....what we were really looking for was all those "atta boys". David does a great job....we mail the Newsletter to all the major newspaper outdoor writers and a number of politicos and agency heads.....as we continue to do this UW-F gains statue, as there is no other publication in the state with the quality David gives to it. Believe it or not, I am already listing topics for the November edition....it is YOUR Newsletter, don't be bashful with articles or ideas.
Thanks
Newton

Well if I could remember how it would be posted on the "news" page off the side bar menu. I'll work on it this evening and post up when it is available.
