Mount Rushmore

After driving on Playhouse road we pulled in Mt.Rushmore.
FYI,it costs 10 dollars to park there but the pass they gave us was good for the rest of the year.

We left Mt Rushmore headed towards Hill City,came around a corner and there was this profile of Washington

We went to our hotel and took a nap and went back for the night show
Here was another case of vapor lock/brain cramp on my part.I put the camera in manual and tried to figure out the shutter speed to take this pic at night.I just couldn't do it.
I ended up putting the camera in TV mode to figure it out

f/11 at 6 seconds on a tripod.Would anybody have done anything different??

It was funny to listen to people complain that their pix didn't turn out so they turned the flash on to try to get the pic to turn out
