Heading South to North in Custer STATE Park you can go left on the Needles HWY towards Hill City or you can go right on Playhouse Road towards Mt.Rushmore.
We went to Mt.Rushmore.
There are more than one of these "tunnels" along these roads.It looks as if someone took a Sawzall and cut a one lane hole in a rock.Luckily at this one there was a 3-4 car turnout so you can take pictures.

OK,here is one stop my brain went into vapor lock.I wanted to show the dark tunnel with the car coming thru but yet wanted to show Mt.Rushmore in the back ground.
Should I have underexposed this a click or two to make Rushmore not look so bright??

Should have under-exposed by about 1 stop. Here it is with 1 stop of under-exposure..

I was worried about making the tunnel and car too dark when I thought about it.
